This year’s event focused on the value AI is creating for the financial services sector, alongside the presentation of the company’s products and solutions roadmap.
The Qualco Technology Executive Connect 2026 was successfully concluded for the third consecutive year. Executives from 15+ countries, spanning the European Union and the United Kingdom, as well as the Middle East and Indonesia, gathered in Athens for a full-day conference centred on one key question:
How can AI translate into measurable value for the financial services sector today?
The participation of executives from such a diverse range of markets reaffirmed the international reach of Qualco Technology’s client and partner network.
Opening the event, Spyros Retzekas, CEO of Qualco Technology and Deputy CEO of Qualco Group, positioned AI as a driver of measurable business value. He also reflected on the evolution of Executive Connect and the trust demonstrated by this year’s strong client participation. As he noted:
“Executive Connect has now become a fixture for Qualco Technology. Three consecutive years and clients from more than 15 countries: that alone is a testament to their trust. It is precisely this trust that keeps us closely connected to the market and drives us to continue developing solutions that make a tangible difference for our clients.”
The event featured contributions from Qualco Technology clients, including Thames Water, United Arab Bank, Teleperformance, Concentrix, and NBG Factors. Representatives from prominent international organisations also contributed to the event, including Factors Chain International (FCI), the global representative body for factoring with members in more than 90 countries, and the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), a member of the Islamic Development Bank Group.
Notably, Thames Water, the UK’s largest water utility and one of Qualco Technology’s most recent international clients, presented how they are using the company’s technology solutions to strengthen customer relationships, improve affordability management, and enhance operational efficiency.
Similarly, United Arab Bank highlighted how they use Qualco ProximaPlus to support their Supply Chain Finance operations, building resilience and deepening relationships with corporate clients across different markets.
The company’s latest AI solutions were a key focus of the event. Practical use cases and client case studies featuring the Data, ML & Agentic AI Suite and Agenly demonstrated how organisations are moving from prediction to execution, with governance, explainability and human oversight embedded throughout. The event also offered an in-depth look at Qualco Technology’s product roadmap, including new products, solutions, features and capabilities currently under development.
One clear conclusion emerged from the event: the question is no longer what AI can do, but what value it creates. For Qualco Technology, this translates into a consistent approach: connecting data, models and agentic workflows with the most critical processes across credit, lending and trade finance.
