Qualco UK, part of Qualco Group, has announced a leadership transition, with Christian Jacob stepping down as Managing Director at the end of 2026 and Andrew Pritchard taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer from 1 January 2027.
Mr Jacob founded Qualco UK in 2012 and has played a defining role in its development since, building the team and client relationships that have established the business within the UK collections and recoveries sector. Under his leadership, Qualco UK has become an integral part of Qualco Group in the region.
Following the transition, Mr Jacob will remain within Qualco Group in an advisory capacity for a further six months, providing continuity and ongoing support to the business and its clients.
Mr Pritchard joined Qualco UK in September 2026 and is working alongside Mr Jacob and the wider leadership team through a four-month transition period. He brings more than 25 years' experience in the collections and recoveries sector, having founded, led and held senior positions in businesses spanning consultancy, technology and professional services.
Most recently, Mr Pritchard spent two years in executive roles within multinational technology companies. Prior to that, he co-founded and served as the CEO of Arum, where he worked with clients in more than 20 countries over a 20-year period. During that time, he created a leading specialist consultancy within the consumer collections and recoveries space.
